We are excited to announce that our office has reopened to welcome new and existing patients. Please note, cleanliness and sterilization have always been our highest priority, however, there are additional precautions that we have implemented due to COVID-19. We continue to monitor and update our office based on recommendations established by the Center for Disease Control, American Dental Association, and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
So you know what to expect at your next appointment, please see the updated information below:
What to Expect
- We respectfully ask that if you, or someone you are in close contact with, are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 to please call our office and reschedule your appointment for a future date.
- Any persons entering the office will be required to wear protective face masks.
- To limit the number of persons in our office, please avoid bringing extra guests or family members to your appointment.
- Due to the updated safety protocols, allow extra time for your appointment.
- Because of the additional PPE worn by the providers, the temperature in the office will be lower than usual.
- Please call the office if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms 2 – 14 days after your appointment.
When you Arrive
- Text us at 847-736-9044 to let our team know that you are here.
- Please wait in your car until you receive a text back from our office.
- Every person’s temperature will be checked. Any temperature above 100.4 degrees may require your appointment to be rescheduled.
Updated Precautions
- Medical grade air purifiers with HEPA filters are placed throughout the office.
- To provide a touch-less experience, we accept Apple Pay.
- Multiple hand sanitizer stations are available.
- Shared items have been removed.
- We have increased our cleaning protocols to include using disinfectants that kill the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
- The dental providers will be wearing additional personal protective equipment including N-95 masks, face shields, and surgical gowns.
- Each team member’s temperature is taken upon entry into the office.
Patient Expectations
- In accordance with the Lake County Health Department, to continue to safely care for our patients, we kindly ask that you call to reschedule your appointment if you have spent more than 24 hours in any states with widespread community transmission.
